Alberta woman charged for publication of intimate images after extensive investigation

On August 15, 2025, Didsbury RCMP began investigating allegations of an intimate photograph being posted online without consent. Following a thorough investigation, Jodine Nelmes from Clearwater County was arrested and charged on November 5 with publication of intimate images without consent and criminal harassment, set to appear in court on November 17, 2025.

RCMP charge Carstairs male with sexual offences against a youth

Investigators from Didsbury RCMP, with assistance from the Luna Child and Youth Advocacy Centre in Calgary, determined the victim had been assaulted on two occasions between 2024 and 2025.

Didsbury RCMP respond to collision, drivers experience significant delays on Highway 2

On Oct. 26, 2025, at approximately 2:45 a.m., Didsbury RCMP responded to a two vehicle collision on the north bound lanes of the Hwy 2, near secondary Highway 582, in Mountain View County. At the time of the collision, both vehicles, a Chevrolet Traverse and a Ford Bronco, were travelling north on the QEII.
