Caribou Publishing is a media group proud to serve East Central Alberta, primarily in the production of our four legacy community newspapers.
ProNews.ca is a new service powered by Caribou Publishing meant to celebrate journalism across Canada and hopefully help in filling news deserts. We publish content that is part of the Local Journalism Initiative, which features some of the best journalists and media outlets in the nation today. Additionally, we source content from News Canada, Community Wire, Alberta and Canada RCMP, official corporate, federal and provincial news releases, and more. We also plan to use this space to publish important news and features from our four legacy newspapers in East Central Alberta. Additionally, we’d like to welcome municipalities who no longer have a viable local media to submit regular reports and bulletins here.
