Alberta RCMP’s Community Response Team, with the assistance of the Sheriff Investigative Support Unit Surveillance Team, concluded a drug trafficking investigation.
On Oct. 28, 2025, the Alberta Community Response Team executed a search warrant on a residence near 127 Street and 130 Avenue in Edmonton. As a result of the search warrant, police arrested Cory Fraser, a 56-year-old resident of Edmonton.
As a result of the investigation, police located and seized the following:
- 18.9 grams of cocaine;
- Six Tablets of oxycodone;
- .22 Caliber handgun;
- Ammunition;
- Scales;
- 74 cartons of unstamped cigarettes; and
- $9,570 Canadian currency.
Cory Fraser is charged with:
- Trafficking a Controlled Substance;
- Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking;
- Possession of a Controlled Substance;
- Possession of Proceeds of Crime over $5000;
- Unauthorized Possession of a restricted weapon;
- Possess a firearm in a careless manner; and.
- Possess tobacco products for the purpose of selling.
Cory Fraser was held for a bail hearing and was remanded into custody. He is to appear in the Alberta Court of Justice in Edmonton on Oct. 28, 2025.
