Alberta RCMP Community Response Team seizes quantity of drugs and firearm

Drumheller man charged with additional sexual offences as more alleged victims come forward

Earlier this month, Drumheller RCMP arrested and charged 59-year-old Bernard Germain with sexual assault and sexual interference. At that time, RCMP believed there were more victims.

On October 23, 2025, RCMP discovered improvised explosives during a search in Samson Cree Nation, leading to the arrest of Terrance Bruno. He faces multiple charges and will appear in court on October 28, 2025.

Didsbury RCMP respond to collision, drivers experience significant delays on Highway 2

On Oct. 26, 2025, at approximately 2:45 a.m., Didsbury RCMP responded to a two vehicle collision on the north bound lanes of the Hwy 2, near secondary Highway 582, in Mountain View County.  At the time of the collision, both vehicles, a Chevrolet Traverse and a Ford Bronco, were travelling north on the QEII.
